Dr. Robert D. Tupper

Robert D. Tupper, DPM

Doctor Robert Tupper completed podiatric medical school at the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine, graduating with his Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine. After finishing medical school, Dr. Tupper completed his podiatric medicine and surgery residency at the VA Medical Center in Augusta Ga. He then went active duty in the US Navy station at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth. During his tenure in the Navy he was deployed with fleet hospital 5 into an active war zone in support of Desert Shield and Storm. He joined private practice in the community following his military service. He is board certified by both the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and the American Council of Certified Podiatric Physicians and Surgeons. He has hospital affiliations with Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, Sentara Leigh Hospital, Bon Secours De Paul and Bon Secours ASC at Virginia Beach.

Dr Tupper is an avid lifelong runner; and he is also very active in treating athletes. He has coached Wards Corner Little league baseball, JCC basketball and he is currently starting his 11th season coaching Cross Country along with Track and Field for Norfolk Collegiate High School. 


Dr. Tupper was an adjunct professor at the Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine and the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine from 1990 to 1993. He is a Fellow of the American College of Foot & Ankle Surgeons, the American Professional Wound Care Association, The American Podiatric Medical Association, The Hampton Roads Podiatric Medical Association, The American Diabetes Association, and The American Association of Podiatric Physicians and Surgeons.


Dr. John P. DAmelioJohn P. D’Amelio, DPM

Dr. D’Amelio received his undergraduate education from Trenton State College, earning his Bachelor of Arts in Biology. He then went on to complete podiatric medical school at the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine, graduating with his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine. After finishing medical school, Dr. D’Amelio received residency training at Cleveland Foot Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio. He is board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery, and has hospital affiliations with Sentara Leigh Memorial Hospital, Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, Sentara Bayside Hospital, Bon Secours De Paul, and Bon Secours ASC at Virginia Beach.

Dr. D’Amelio was a member of the Credential Committee at Sentara Bayside Hospital and is currently on the Quality Assurance Committee at Bon Secours De Paul. He has been published in the journal of the American Podiatric Association.

 

 


Dr. N. Wynta WilliamsN. Wynta Williams, DPM

Dr. N. Wynta Williams received her undergraduate education from Hampton University in Hampton, Virginia, earning her Bachelor of Arts in Biology. She then went on to complete podiatric medical school at the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine, graduating with her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine. After finishing medical school, Dr. Williams received postgraduate training as a podiatric resident at Leavenworth VAMC in Kansas City and Leavenworth, Kansas, and at Munson Army Hospital in Leavenworth, Kansas.

Dr. Williams has hospital affiliations with Bon Secours De Paul. She is board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine and the American Board of Lower Extremity Surgery. Dr. Williams is a certified Would Care Specialist, and she is a member of the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, the American Podiatric Medical Association, and the Virginia Podiatric Medical Association.

 

 


Dr. C. Christopher NicholasC. Christopher Nicholas, DPM

Dr. C. Christopher Nicholas was born in Norfolk and raised in Virginia Beach, where he attended Kempsville High School. He received his undergraduate degree in Psychology at the University of Virginia. He then went on to Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine, completing his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree. There he received the prestigious Lewis Gorden Memorial Award for the highest marks in Pharmacology. Dr. Nicholas completed his post graduate training at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center of Weill Medical College of Cornell University where he completed his podiatric medicine and surgical residency. There he received extensive training in trauma, reconstructive foot and ankle, and elective forefoot surgery. He maintains full privileges at Bon Secours Depaul Medical Center, Bon Secours Surgery Center of Virginia Beach, Sentara Leigh Hospital, and Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.

Dr. Nicholas is a diplomate of the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery; a fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons; and a member of the American, Virginia, and Hampton Roads Podiatric Medical Associations. He has been published in the Journal of Foot and Ankle Surgery and has been a primary investigator in experimental diabetic foot wound healing studies through Clinical Research Associates of Tidewater. Dr. Nicholas has served on both the Physicians Advisory Board and the Medical Executive Committee of the Bon Secours Surgery Center of Virginia Beach. He is a past President of the Cyprus Benevolent Society of Tidewater 2009-2015. He served on the Board of Directors for the Norfolk Community Services Board 2012-2016. He currently serves on the Board of Governors of the American Hellenic Educational Progressive Association Norfolk Chapter.


Dr Lauren ShouldisLauren A. Shouldis, DPM

Dr. Lauren Shouldis received her undergraduate education at Longwood University in Farmville, Virginia, earning her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a concentration in Athletic Training. She then went on to complete podiatric medical school at the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine, graduating with her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Shouldis was the Chief Resident of the Podiatry Residency program at East Virginia Medical School.

Dr. Shouldis is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and the Virginia Podiatric Medical Association. She is affiliated with the Clinical Research Associates of Tidewater in Norfolk, Virginia. Dr. Shouldis has been published twice in the Compendium of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery and has presented at the National Scientific Meeting for the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons in Orlando, Florida.
